Hi, I'm Yağız Akay, an outdoor enthusiast who built Pathsie. Every great adventure starts with a single step. Pathsie began with a simple observation: planning outdoor adventures with friends shouldn't be complicated. Scattered messages across different apps, lost route details, unclear packing lists, and the constant "what's the plan?" questions – there had to be a better way.

Having spent countless hours on trails, peaks, and coastlines, I experienced these challenges firsthand. I wanted to create the tool I always wished existed – a single platform where adventurers could plan trips together, share routes, track their journeys, and build a community of like-minded explorers.

Pathsie is proudly indie – built with dedication, passion, and a deep understanding of what adventurers need. Every feature is designed with real outdoor experiences in mind, from the safety check-in system to the route recording with KML/GPX export, to the collaborative trip planning tools.
